1. Stainless Steel: Type 304.

A. Sheet Metal: ASTM A 167 or ASTM A 240/A 240M.

B. Wire: ASTM A 580/A 580M.

C. Bars: ASTM A 479/A 479M, annealed and ground.

D. Plates, Bars, and Shapes: ASTM A 167 or ASTM A 276.

2. Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel: Hot-dip galvanized after fabrication in accordance with ASTM A 153/A 153M, Class B-2.

B. Products

1. Masonry Wall Stabilizing Anchors: Anchoring top of wall to structure while allowing vertical deflection.

A. Type: No. 419 Pin Type 12 gage (2.6 mm) plate with 3/8 inch (10 mm) diameter pin; plate anchored to structure overhead, pin sliding in No. 421 Plastic Tube embedded in mortar at top of wall.

1. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

2. Material: Stainless steel.

B. Type: No. 420 Cap 12 gage (2.6 mm) channel cap; attached to structure overhead.

1. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

2. Material: Stainless steel.

C. Type: No. 138-R Channel Slot Threaded Rod Anchor used with a [#130 Welded Channel Slot][#133 Continuous Welded Channel Slot] on a Structural Beam. Channel Slot Anchor 12 gage (2.6 mm) with a welded 3/8 inch (10 mm) threaded rod [length] from channel, pin sliding in No. 421 Plastic Tube embedded in mortar at top of wall.

1. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

2. Material: Stainless steel.

D. Type: No. 138 Channel Slot Flat Anchor used with a [#130 Welded Channel Slot][#133 Continuous Welded Channel Slot] on a Structural Beam. Channel Slot Anchor 12 gage (2.6 mm) x 1-1/4 inch ( mm) wide x[length] from channel, sliding in No. 422 Plastic Rectangle Tube embedded in mortar at top of wall.

1. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

2. Material: Stainless steel.

E. Type: No. 121 Dovetail Threaded Rod Anchor used with a No. 100 Dovetail Slot built in to Top Slab. Dovetail Anchor 12 gage (2.6 mm) with a welded 3/8 inch (10 mm) threaded rod [length] from face of Top Slab, pin sliding in No. 421 Plastic Tube embedded in mortar at top of wall.

1. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

2. Material: Stainless steel.

F. Type: No. 109 Dovetail Flat Anchor used with a No. 100 Dovetail Slot built in to Top Slab. Dovetail Anchor 12 gage (2.6 mm) x 1 inch (25 mm) wide x [length] from face of Top Slab, sliding in No. 421 Plastic Tube embedded in mortar at top of wall.

A. Material: Hot-dip galvanized.

B. Material: Stainless steel.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 INSTALLATION

A. Install as specified in applicable masonry section(s) and in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
