Continuous insulation over the steel studs. 
NO batts and NO exterior gypsum

PROJECT:  Northeast Medical Center - Concord, North Carolina

The Styrofoam SC is installed over the steel studs using Pos-I-Tie® Brick Ties.  The joints are taped with vycor tape y WR Grace. 
The Mason clips on the triangles as the brick are laid.
 
 
Styrofoam SC is easy to install.  NOTE:  There are no batts and no gyp sheathing. 
The 2" Styrofoam insulates better than a 6" batt and gyp because there are no thermal shorts in the system.

Bracing and Flashings are handled the same as with exterior gyp. usually horizontal bracing is used to give the studs structural integrity.  Notice the Pos-I-Tie® Screws through the steel studs.
