Threaded Inserts
Use Threaded Inserts to anchor precast concrete panels to steel frames. Threaded Inserts permit anchor bolts to be removed and reinstalled as often as required, and can be used to lift removable concrete slabs or vault covers. Since Threaded Inserts can be accurately laid-out, they are especially useful for mounting equipment or fixtures which must be precisely located. Threaded Inserts offer a clean and unobtrusive appearance without protrusion beyond the face of the concrete. In addition, Threaded Inserts are more reliable than typical expansion anchors and they avoid the risk of damaging concrete when drilling anchor holes.

No. 444 Threaded Inserts:

Die-cast zinc alloy offers strength and corrosion resistance. Use with #174 Threaded Eye Bolts or with standard machine bolts from local suppliers. Install in precast and cast-in-place concrete or in grout filled concrete masonry units.
