The Core/Cavity Vent^TM Weep System creates many openings at the lowest point of the core and cavity of the wall, continuously along the wall. See No. 365 Trash Mortar Diverter and No. 366 Cavity Vent Weep System for similar conditions.

Forms the bottom side of the bed joint of mortar.
3/16" thickness (4.7625 mm) does not interrupt normal layout.
Creates four vent holes every 9 1/2" on the entire perimeter of both the core and the cavity.
Maintains bearing and bond.

Installation:
Clean the installation surface.
Position the Core/Cavity Vent^TM on flashings and waterstops with material centered on the block wall. Allow intermittent edges to extend into the wall cavity and to the exterior as illustrated.
Apply bed joint of mortar.
Install masonry units on the bed of mortar, following normal installation procedures.
Tool and finish mortar joints.
Use a common utility knife to score Core/Cavity Vent^TM at the wall line.
Break off excess Core/Cavity Vent^TM on the scored line.

The Core/Cavity Vent comes in 12" x 25 ft rolls ( 30.48 cm x 7.62 m) - 8 rolls (200 lin ft) per box.
